This is the fourth year in a row that we have gone to my parent’s house in Fort Mohave, AZ for the 4th of July and Kyle’s birthday! We look forward to visiting this small town that I went to school in because it is a break from our busy city life.
The unique thing about these kind of trips are that we don’t dine out much. We go to BBQs, make lunches at home and sometimes visit a local taco spot!
The amazing Arbogast family hosted a fun 4th of July BBQ which is where we headed as soon as we got to Arizona. We hung out by the pool, took polaroids, and ate some awesome food! She had the CUTEST watermelon pool floats and matching drink floats too.
I can’t forget about another reason I was so excited to go to AZ, my sister is there! I hope sometime in the near future we will be able to live in the same city. It is so fun having her join in on my posts and gives you guys a different size perspective, too. She is typically 1 size smaller than I am, and about 2 inches shorter!
We got to hang out a little bit and of course I made her snap a picture with me. I linked our red bathing suits below, both are under $40!
My favorite part of the whole trip was spending time with Kyle on our friend’s boat. Shout out to Wyat Arbogast for taking us on an awesome ride! It was SO hot (100+ degrees) but we stayed in the shade most of the time and managed to both not get sunburns! I think we were both so traumatized from our sunburns in Hawaii that we learned our lesson.
The sunglasses I linked above are probably my favorite Amazon buy of the whole summer. I have 2 colors and they have lasted me multiple trips so far! I love how large they are!
Being able to spend 4 days with Kyle and my mom was just what I needed. Our lives can get really busy here in Las Vegas and it is easy to get in a crazy routine as well as get sucked in to our (blackhole) phones and laptops.
I’m already looking forward to our next weekend off together! God bless everyone!
